I’ve probably watched every Contacts film on Contemporary Photographers, but somehow I don’t recall studying or viewing William Klein’s. I love what he has to say about photography and what he feels delineates a photograph for him in comparison to others.
The life of a photographer, even a great photographer as they say; two seconds.
I found some clips from his Contacts film, and more than his work, I think I just really appreciated the way he narrated the film. So methodical; reciting date, location and content as if he were a machine.
For a pretty complete synopsis of his life check out this website.
